About Lexi
Hi! I’m Lexi — founder of Boxwood Bookkeeping, wife to Justin, mom of two energetic little girls, and dog mom to three rambunctious pups! I hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Stephen F. Austin State University and created Boxwood to be more than a bookkeeping service — it’s a relationship-based support system for business owners who want clarity, confidence, and peace in their finances.
Boxwood started remotely and is now proudly rooted in Lufkin, Texas, while still serving clients across the U.S. I’ve worked with a wide range of industries — from estheticians, photographers, and veterinarians to doctors, oil field testing companies, manufacturers, real estate professionals, venue owners, and law firms — offering tailored financial support that fits each business’s needs.
My work is centered on Reliable Detail-Driven Bookkeeping — from cleanups and catch-up work to monthly reconciliations, reporting, and CPA-ready financials. I thrive on turning financial messes into clarity and calm.
I don’t pretend to have all the answers — but I’ll dig until I find them. I’m deeply resourceful, always learning, and love collaborating with other professionals to ensure my clients are fully supported.
At the heart of my work is my faith. My relationship with Jesus shapes how I lead, serve, and show up — with integrity, humility, and a commitment to doing the right thing, even when no one’s watching.
As Boxwood grows, I’m building a thoughtful, values-driven team to carry this vision forward — one rooted in honesty, excellence, and care. We’re here to lighten your load, bring clarity to your numbers, and support your business with intention.
Outside of work, you’ll find me at a game night with friends, watching my kids flip through their gym, spending time with our church group, sipping craft coffee, binge-watching a favorite show, or learning something new. I might not have a wand, but I believe a little magic, a lot of heart, and solid financials can go a long way."

About Hannah
With 16 years of executive administration experience in accounting within the Houston oilfield industry, I built a strong foundation in organization, leadership support, and financial operations. It was during those years in Houston that I met my husband — and together we began building the life that would later become centered around our two incredible sons.
After welcoming our boys, we made the intentional decision to step away from the pace of big-city life and plant roots in Lufkin, choosing peace, purpose, and a close-knit community to raise our family. That transition not only reshaped our lifestyle — it renewed my faith in Jesus and redefined my calling.
Through community and connection, I found my way to Boxwood Bookkeeping, where I proudly serve as Chaos Coordinator. I thrive in bringing order to moving parts, solving problems creatively, and supporting others so they can focus on what they do best.
I am deeply passionate about authentic connection, building strong community, loving on animals, embracing creativity, and finding practical solutions to complex challenges. I welcome a good challenge — because growth lives on the other side of it.
About Ceciley
Hello everyone!
I am Ceciley Pittman, and I recently earned my Masters of Business Administration from Stephen F. Austin State University, shortly before joining the Boxwood Bookkeeping team.
I was born in Deep East Texas and raised on the border in Brownsville, where I had the privilege of meeting people from many different walks of life. That experience gave me a deep appreciation for culture and diversity, and I am grateful to be bilingual in both English and Spanish.
Numbers have always been something I’ve loved, and I find a lot of joy in problem solving and bringing clarity to all things accounting. I work hard to be transparent and reliable, both in my work and in my relationships. My faith is at the center of who I am. I strive to love like Jesus and trust His way in every season of life, and I carry that same care and dedication into my work.
I am a new mom and absolutely love this adventure of raising my little boy with my wonderful partner, Alex. I also enjoy cooking, traveling, fishing, and gardening. I find that these hobbies keep me grounded and connected to what I love most: family, faith, and simple joys.
I chose to be a part of the Boxwood Bookkeeping team because we share the same value of being personable yet effective. From the moment I met Lexi and Aubrey, I felt a sense of belonging. I am blessed to be able to serve alongside such an amazing team and to assist our clients with honesty, compassion, and excellence.

About Justin
Every great team has a behind-the-scenes hero—and at Boxwood Bookkeeping, that’s Justin.
He’s not just the guy with the toolbox—he’s also the husband of Lexi, Boxwood’s founder and the heart behind the brand. From the very beginning, Justin has been a constant source of support and encouragement—helping foster the idea of Boxwood Bookkeeping long before it ever had a name, a logo, or its own little corner of the wizarding world.
As our resident Maintenance Man, Justin keeps the gears turning behind the scenes. From assembling desks and running office errands to fixing anything that breaks (and occasionally performing what feels like a minor spell or two to make it all work), we lovingly call him our “get-it-done guy.”
With a big heart, a steady hand, and the kind of loyalty that would put even Hagrid to shame, Justin brings the kind of support every small business dreams of. His quiet consistency keeps our days running smoothly—and his presence reminds us that behind every bit of financial magic is a whole lot of Muggle-powered elbow grease.
We may run on spreadsheets and systems—but we also run on Justin.
